An art career i am not interested in would be to be a mime. A mime is a street performing clown who uses illusions to thrill foreigners for tips that equal less than minimum wage, and who’s mothers probably aren’t really proud of them. Training for this job would probably include you-tube videos and a lack of friends and or direct TV that made the person get board enough to pursue such you-tube videos and spark the fascination of a 14 year old whose use of isometric abilities were probably pretty advanced already. To become a mime one must simply purchase black and white outfits and matching makeup. Like a lammer more foreign ICP one struts out the streets with a cardboard box labeled “tips” and begins to do the dance of the mime. This career would not suit me because im not good at such body movement plus i have more ambition in life.

This is my uncut Linoleum project so far. I changed my original design a bit but i kept the sphinx to keep with my focus of ancient art

For my art 3 class we have to choose a concentration. i was having trouble trying to focus on only one central topic for all my art. I've never drawn with a point and non of my correlates with my other art except for my style. i decided to concentrate on ancient art. For my linoleum cut project on focusing on the egyptian aspect of art. Im using Egyptian symbols and signs.

So the latest project we're doing is a linoleum cut. Basically we're cutting blocks of linoleum and printing the images on paper. My idea is of a cat, but it's weird. It's like a cat head on sphinx body, with more cat arms. The cat is wearing an Egyptian head dress. However instead of cat body...it has a turtle shell body. weird right?
